15 Weeks Pregnant Brown Discharge. Not sure if i'm posting in the right place. The epu said brown spotting is common!

I want to believe the doc but then thought of asking if someone was experiencing the same. Brown discharge is basically old blood from the uterus that is expelled. This discharge is totally normal and is just another change your body goes through in response to the pregnancy hormones and the increased blood flow to the area.

I'm 17 weeks tomorrow and since this morning everytime i wipe i have brown discharge like old blood. Brown blood/ discharge and minor cramps at 15 weeks.

I phoned the midwife and she said if it carries on and i get pain to phone the womans hospital as i can now because i'm 17 weeks or if it stays the same to pop in the doctors where she'll be tomorrow and she'll have a listen to the hb. If it's stopped and it was only a tiny bit, especially if you can feel baby moving, i wouldn't worry about it. They said that as long as there isnt much and it isnt bright red blood not to worry and just take it easy, but if it does increase or becomes red to go to the hospital.
