I Am 7 Weeks Pregnant But Ultrasound Showed 5 Weeks. Based on my lpm i went in for my 8 week ultrasound. I had my first ultra sound yesterday and she said there was the gestational sac and the yolk sac and there was a dot that would be the baby but i was not.

They dated me at 5.5 weeks even though my dates showed 7 weeks 3 days at this point. Should be 8 weeks but only measuring 5. Transvaginal ultrasound has a higher sensitivity and produces clearer images than a transabdominal ultrasound.

They found the gestational sac and yoke sac but said it is what u would see at 5 weeks pregnant. Should be 8 weeks but only measuring 5.

Went back 2 weeks later and the sac had grown but still no. Based on my lpm i went in for my 8 week ultrasound.

Hi Ladies, I Went For The First Ultrasound Today.

I went for the first ultrasound today. I had my first appointment on april 22 and she put me at 7 weeks based on my lmp. As per my lmp, i should have been 7 weeks 5 days pregnant now.but i had my ultra sound scan today and it showed fetal pole and gestational age of 6 weeks 0 days and couldn.hear heart beat yet.

The other possibility is that unfortunately the pregnancy is not developing as expected at 7 weeks gestation and a follow up scan may reveal a miscarriage. So Gestational Age Absolutely Should Have Been 7 Weeks, 3 Days.

They said i may have ovulated later than i thought or the baby could have stopped growing. My lmp was march 4. Positive pregnancy results but nothing on ultrasound.

The gestational sac forms around five to seven weeks after the last menstrual period in natural cycles, so it is usually visible between 3 and 5 weeks gestational age using a transvaginal ultrasound. I am going through exactly the same.
